EPIS Publication Guideline

All EPIS publications follow strict academic and journalistic standards. This guideline outlines the principles that apply to all fellows contributing content.

Core Principles

  1. Fact-based analysis: All claims must be supported by credible sources and data.
  2. Non-partisan approach: EPIS does not advocate for any political party. Publications must present balanced analysis.
  3. Academic integrity: Proper citation of all sources. Plagiarism is strictly prohibited.

Formatting Standards

  • Word count: 1,500–4,000 words depending on format
  • Citations: Chicago or Harvard style
  • Language: English (primary) or German
  • All publications receive a DOI upon acceptance

Editorial Process

Submissions go through a two-stage review: peer review by fellow members and editorial review by the working group lead. Feedback is provided within 14 days of submission.
